Northwest Skydivers  Hosts Mini-Money Accuracy Meet

 Saturday OCT 13, 2007

We are just 61 miles north of downtown Seattle in the beautiful Skagit River Valley Delta  and we are just  just 50 miles south of the Canadian border crossing at Blaine.

On your way up to jump altitude, the view is breathtaking. To the west is Puget Sound and Admiralty Inlet with beautiful views of the San Juan Islands. To the north of our airfield is snow covered Mt. Baker at 10,778' which holds the record for snowfall of 1,140 inches in one year. To the east of our dropzone is the North Cascades National Park also known as the American Alps. All of us wish to make your visit to the drop zone, whether you are a first time jumper, or an experienced up-jumper a pleasant one.

Northwest Skydivers is the drop zone at Barker Field in Mt. Vernon WA. NW Skydivers came into being on April 21st, 2006 to meet the needs of local skydivers in the North Puget Sound . Our goal is to have a dropzone where the vibe is all important. The management wants to put just as many jumpers in the air per hour as our Porter can haul. You need not fear getting bumped from a load at Northwest Skydivers.

Our jump aircraft is a Pilatus Porter PC-6. It will comfortably hold 8 jumpers for your ride to altitude. The Porter is a turbine aircraft that will fly you to 13,500 ft in under 12 minutes from take off. We can easily do 3 loads of 8 jumpers per hour.
